Quest for greater knowledge...

Because my blogs become books it's necessary to
to record a few things none knife related. Except, that this is a bit knife related. Shane left for a quest of greater knowledge about forging. He's at Ed Fowler's house for a knife seminar.
The ragga muffin munchkins seen in this picture miss him. Oh, and so do I. He'll be back soon.
In the meantime, I thought I might paint "The Great Oblivion" Pink. Ha Ha...Do you think Shane will go for it?
No... Fine.

Knife Stalkers...

You know me and all my name dubbing. Like Shane's shop is the great Oblivion. Because when someone goes to Shane's shop we never know when we'll see them again....
I first started lovingly calling all you knife obsessed men (and women) Knife stalkers. You know who you are. Admit it. If you've taken an hour out of your day to stare at knives on the computer screen you're pretty much obsessed. You know who you are. You might as well wear the title proudly.
Shane has made a knife worthy of this title also.
It's a little bit different, crazy, funky, and cool.
It has gray and black G-10 and copper pins.
Brick red spacers.
Yup, this knife is Knife Stalker#1.

Classy knife

Lacy knows she's been slacking. Bare with me and keep checking in.
Giraffe bone handle and Mammoth tooth bolster.
Very classy knife!
It has a great rich coloring!
Man! This baby's sharp!
A few minutes ago when I wondered out to the great Oblivion
to get inspiration for Shane's blog I picked it up and just about
sliced my palm open.
I remember a time when I would have
held a knife as far away from me as possible.
Gone are those days.
Now I beg to keep every knife Shane makes!
I may have even, hid a few inside my back pocket so they could,
mysteriously, end up in my collection.
